Kayla Feazell

Chief Executive Officer

Kayla came to HealthSouth Gadsden from HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Montgomery where she served as an associate administrator. Her experience also includes serving as controller at HealthSouth Sugar Land Rehabilitation Hospital and in various roles with Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation Hospital in Katy, Texas. She received her bachelor’s degree in liberal arts from Huntington College and her master’s in business administration from Tulane University

Vladimir Slutsker, D.O.

Medical Director

Dr. Slutsker joined HealthSouth in 2005 in Phenix City, AL, and later joined the HealthSouth team in Fredericksburg, VA,  before coming to Gadsden in 2013.  He graduated New York College of Osteopathic medicine in 1995 and completed his residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Kingsbrook Jewish Medical Center in Brooklyn, New York.  Dr. Slutsker is board certified in PM&R and also a member of the American College of Osteopathic Medicine and the American Osteopathic Medicine Association.

HealthSouth provides access to independent physicians.

Barry Eads

Chief Nursing Officer

Barry brings more than 35 years of patient care and healthcare management experience to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden. He utilizes his background in nursing leadership and hospital administration to promote quality care and exceptional satisfaction for patients and their family members. Barry holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the Mississippi University for Women as well as a master’s degree in health administration from Ohio University.

Connie Gunn

Director of Marketing Operations

Connie has been with HealthSouth since 1992 and has worked in the Southeast and MidAtlantic regions.  She has worked in various areas of healthcare for 30 years. Connie is a registered nurse and received her degree in nursing from Troy State University.

Charlien Mobley

Director of Case Management

Charlien joined HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden in 2009 as a case manager.  She became the director of case management in 2011 and obtained her case management certification in 2012.  She has been a registered nurse for over 20 years and has worked in a variety of healthcare settings.  Charlien graduated from Gadsden State and received her bachelor’s degree from Jacksonville State University.

Lori Norman

Chief Financial Officer

Lori joined HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden in 2003 and enjoys her role as the hospital’s controller.  She graduated from Jacksonville State University with a bachelor’s degree in accounting.
