After working at a local hospital for 30 years, I have had two strokes on the left side and needed rehabilitation.  I was falling, my balance was poor, and needed help getting up. After being admitted to HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital of Gadsden, my balance has improved.  I can walk without falling and am getting ready for the Alabama football season! 

HealthSouth has a great stroke program and I highly recommend this hospital for rehab.  The hospital is very clean and the staff is great.  I won’t go anywhere else if I need physical rehabilitation again.

Becoming a Patient

Our hospital provides care for those who are ready to be discharged from a hospital but not ready to return home. Treatment and care is designed to bridge the gap between hospital and home. Anyone who is limited functionally from an injury or illness can benefit from rehabilitation.
